In the following pages i present my recent musical works, for which i composed, arranged and performed all the music. They are different projects, but they grow from the same musical instinct: each one a small world of its own, a space for exploring sound architectures, forms and orchestrations, moods and emotional landscapes.

My passion for percussion led me, in 2014, to create Pulsar Ensemble, a modular line-up built around two original performances, Acoustic and Electro, where rhythm and timbre become the main fields of exploration.

Rifugi and Maree, my two trio records with the extraordinary Enrico and Danilo, are collections of simple, flexible compositions played somewhere between jazz and rock, ambient and electronica, always chasing a momentary distortion of reality.

At the height of Covid-19 I played alone, moving between drums and keyboard at the same time. Thus Tribù was born: an aphoristic, emotional, decidedly experimental album, as necessary as a photograph of an unforgettable time.

Leo, Greg, Fidel and I are Il Trieste, named after the bathyscaphe that, in the 1960s, dove deeper than anything before it, down into the unexplored Mariana Trench.
Its story inspired me a set of pieces written for the descent and for the long way back up.
